In Salvatierra, Guanajuato, 16-year-old dies

Salvatierra, Guanajuato.- In the Urireo community of Salvatierra, Guanajuato, a 16-year-old teenager, identified as José Luis, died of bullets, at 11 p.m. on Thursday, at the corner of Hidalgo and Benito Juárez streets, neighbors near the main garden of the community, heard the detonation of firearms, when they left, they noticed that a young man was lying on the ground, with visible injuries from bullet impacts.  Citizens reported the crime to the Emergency Service, 911, to the place arrived elements of Municipal Police of Salvatierra, who confirmed the finding and asked for support from paramedics, who minutes later arrived, but when they saw José Luis and provided him with a first attention, they confirmed that there was no more to do for the young teenager, because he no longer had signs of life.  According to the testimony of neighbors, José Luis was wearing gray pants, white tennis shoes and a white sweatshirt at the time of his death. The area was cordoned off by elements of the Municipal Police of Salvatierra, National Guard and the Mexican Army, who took care of the area, waiting for the arrival of experts from the Attorney General’s Office of Guanajuato, who arrived minutes later and proceeded to carry out the collection of relevant evidence and inquiries.  We recommend you read: The evidence taken in the area of the events will be added to the investigation folder that is already open for the clarification of this homicide. The body of the victim was transferred by ambulance to the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service, to apply the corresponding necropsy of law.
