After taking office as deputy minister: Gabriel Rubinstein apologized for his “aggravating comments” against Cristina Kirchner

The appointment of Gabriel Rubinstein as Deputy Minister of Economy had been on stand-by due to his public expressions regarding the economic policy of the national government and, especially, for his comments on Vice President Cristina Kirchner.Once his landing as Vice President of Sergio Massa in Finance was made official, the economist highlighted the “breadth” of the Government and apologized for his messages. I also want to highlight the breadth of the government to join the team despite aggravating comments on my part on social networks that should not be made,” the new official wrote on Twitter.

What the new Deputy Minister of Economy had said
Gabriel Rubinstein, head of Gabriel Rubinstein & Asociados (GRA), repeatedly criticized the government’s economic policy, warning, on more than one occasion, of the risk of hyperinflation and stressing the need to reduce the fiscal deficit by lowering public spending.

The tweets that resonated the most since it emerged as the first alternative to support Massa in Economy, however, were those that refer to the scandals that shook the Casa Rosada –such as the party in the Quinta de Olivos– and the judicial situation of the former president.
His latest messages, on the other hand, highlighted the appointment of the leader of the Renovator Front as a tool to stabilize the dollar and anchor inflation expectations.
