AMLO will file a complaint with the UN; accuses covax non-compliance

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) will file a complaint at the UN against Covax, given the lack of delivery of vaccines against Covid-19.
During the morning press conference, López Obrador said that the complaint is because “they have not given us vaccines from the body that was created in the United Nations (UN).”
“Covax owe us 75 million dollars, the complaint will be filed because it is already a lot, it is already the last straw. The complaint will be made as soon as possible because imagine giving them money advanced for vaccines, I think it will be a year, and we have been looking for an agreement being tolerant because it is an international organization but we are not cover-ups, “said the president.

Covax Vaccines
In June of this year, the Ministry of Health must disclose the number of vaccines that Mexico received through the Global Access Fund for Vaccines against Covid-19 (Covax) and that were applied, ordered the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI).
The institute instructed the agency, in charge of Jorge Alcocer, to detail the number of COVID vaccines per brand and the number of these that were stored as of February 21, 2022.
