Covid-19 report: there are 4,482 infections, 27% less than last week

According to the report of the Ministry of Health, the latter reported a total of 42 deaths from coronavirus and 4,482 infections in the last week in Argentina. These numbers represent 27% fewer cases than last Sunday (6,175). The number of deaths increased 68% from last week when 25 deaths had been reported. In this way, there are 129,897 deaths officially registered nationwide and 9,708,420 those infected since the beginning of the pandemic. In addition, the health ministry indicated that there are 294 inmates in intensive care units, with a percentage of adult bed occupancy in the public and private sector, for all pathologies, of 41.3%. In the last week 15 people died in the province of Buenos Aires, 5 in the City of Buenos Aires, 3 in Chaco, 5 in Corrientes, 2 in Córdoba, 5 in Entre Ríos, 1 in Formosa, 1 in La Pampa, 4 in Salta, and 1 in Santiago del Estero.According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, the total doses applied amounts to 109,474,175, of which 40,982,909 received one dose, 37,821,523 both, 3,151,848 an additional, 21,558,286 the first booster, and 5,916,013 the second, while vaccines distributed to jurisdictions reach 117,146,112 and those donated to 5,083,000.
