Council of Presidents of the ANFP refuses to prohibit representatives from belonging to the boards of national clubs

This Monday just past the ANFP had a Council of President where they sought to vote on the new statutes of national football. One of the most controversial that were in the discussion was the presence of representatives of footballers at the head of professional teams.
Despite having a majority of clubs in favor of prohibiting the presence of agents on the boards of clubs, the motion did not achieve the quorum necessary for its approval.
According to Radio ADN, the clubs that voted against the motion were: Audax Italiano, Coquimbo Unido, Deportes Temuco, Deportes Melipilla, Ñublense, Unión La Calera and San Luis; while Huachipato and Deportes La Serena abstained.
However, this motion is not yet completely settled, since FIFA is analyzing regulating the presence of football agents in the front of the clubs. In other words, if the governing body defines contrary to the Council of Presidents, it must comply.
Greater female presence
One of the statutes that were approved by the Council of Presidents was the increase of the female presence in the front of national football.
Specifically, from now on, at least one woman must be incorporated in relevant positions of the ANFP: the Board, the Disciplinary Tribunal, the Patrimonial Tribunal, the Court of Honor and the Electoral Tribunal.
