Celine Dion announces that she suffers from a rare and incurable disease

The famous singer Celine Dion suffers from a neurological disease that has forced her to cancel her 2023 European tour, reported today the Paleo Festival of Nyon (Switzerland), one of the stages where the Canadian artist was scheduled to perform on July 17 next year.
The announcement of the organizers of the Swiss festival, one of the great summer events with music in the country, has coincided with the publication of a video of Dion on his YouTube channel in which he confessed that he suffers from the so-called “rigid shoulder syndrome”, which causes muscle spasms that prevent him from acting.
Maintain hope
“A great medical team works alongside me to help me get well, and my children also give me hope and support,” Dion said in the video, where she gets emotional and tearfully notes that “everything I know how to do, what I’ve done in my life and what I love most is singing.”
The organizers of the Paléo Festival expressed in the statement their wishes for a speedy recovery for the singer of hits such as “My Heart Will Go On” and indicated that they will refund the amount of all tickets already purchased.
Previously, the singer had already delayed her European tour a year, from 2022 to 2023, due to muscle problems that have finally been diagnosed as symptoms of a rare disease that in the words of Dion herself “affects one person in a million”.
“Spasms affect every aspect of my life, sometimes they make it difficult for me to walk, and they also don’t allow me to use my vocal cords like I did before,” says Dion, who expresses hope that “I will already be on the road to recovery.”
