Rio Negro: Three people died in fatal crash on Route 22

Three people died, one of them a minor, and three others suffered injuries of varying consideration in a head-on collision between two vehicles in the early hours of Wednesday on Route 22 at the height of the city of Guerrico.The tragic accident occurred around one o’clock in the morning a few meters from the Substation 54 of Guerrico, where, for reasons that are being investigated, they collided head-on with a Ford EcoSport van in which four people were traveling – two adults and two minors – and a Renault Koleos car in which the driver and a passenger were circulating. As a result of the crash, three of the four occupants of the van, the two older and one of the minors, died on the spot, while the fourth, along with the two occupants of the second vehicle, suffered serious injuries and were transferred to a health center where they remained hospitalized. The troops of the Substation 54 of Guerrico were the first to intervene after the frontal collision, while personnel of the Road Safety Corps of General Roca and Allen also attended the place, as well as members of the Volunteer Firefighters of the latter locality to rescue the trapped people.
