Public transport in Mexico City will apply special schedules on the occasion of Christmas and New Year.
The Secretariat of Mobility (Semovi) explained that the Integrated Mobility Network will have different operating hours on December 24, 25 and 31 and January 1, 2023.
Meter
On Saturday, December 24, the Metro Collective Transport System will provide service from 06:00 in the morning and will conclude at 23:00 hours. On Sunday, December 25, the operation will be from 07:00 to 00:00 hours.
For New Year, Saturday, December 31 will be 06:00 to 23:00 hours; while on December 1 it will be from 07:00 to 00:00 hours.
The above schedules will also apply to the pop-up service of Line 12 and Line 1 of the Metro.
Metrobus
For Saturday, December 24 and December 31, the service will be offered from 04:30 in the morning until 21:30 hours.
While on Sunday, December 25 and January 1, the schedule will be from 05:00 to 00:00 hours.

Trolley bus
On Saturday, December 24 and December 31 the schedule will be from 05:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. On Sunday 25 December and 1 January from 05:00 to 00:00 hours.

Cablebus
The service will be from 06:00 to 22:00 hours for Saturday Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve; while for Christmas and New Year the schedule will be 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Use of bicycle in transport
The Semovi recalled that on Saturdays, December 24 and 31, the population will be able to enter the Metrobus with their bicycle.
While on Sunday, December 25 and January 1, 2023, they will be able to enter the Metro, Metrobus, Electric Transport Service (Trolleybus and Light Rail) by bicycle.
