While in prison, Cabral took advantage of the temporary exits to work alongside a physical trainer. “I worked thinking that when I completely reintegrated into society it would not cost me so much. I searched hard all the time I was inside to play and compete again. I was looking for this second chance that luckily Coquimbo gave me,” he said. About the road, he explained that “it is not easy to compete again in the First Division, but I remained hopeful that I could start again.” Also, the footballer referred to the time he spent locked up. “He feels fear every day being in prison. In some moments it favored me to be a footballer and in others it was harmful to the inmates. In the end they understood that the only thing I wanted was to leave as soon as possible,” Cabral said.
