The spin-off of the series “The Price of History” premieres

History premieres next Wednesday, March 22, “The Price of History on the Road”, spin-off of the series “The Price of History” that for the first time takes its protagonists along the route throughout North America in search of extraordinary items of value. In this new series, pawn stars Rick Harrison, his son Corey Harrison and Austin “Chumlee” Russell set out on a journey to visit some of America’s most exciting places to discover historical finds and impressive collectibles in this new eight-episode production. After years behind the counter doing business, the protagonists of “The Price of History” begin this new journey through the United States in a restored sixties Cadillac Coupe DeVille, which was part of the incredible personal collection of Rick’s father, Richard Harrison, known as “The Old Man”. On the occasion of this launch, History held a virtual event for all fans through History’s YouTube channel, in which Rick and Corey Harrison participated, where the audience had the opportunity to ask their questions to the protagonists of and they shared their experience of having gone out on the road for the first time. It was very interesting. We are in Las Vegas, on the west coast and we receive many interesting things. But there are many very old things on the east coast of the country. And that’s one of the things we liked about doing this program. We saw things that were many, many years old, like things from Washington or a cannon from the Revolutionary War,” Rick Harrison said at the event. It’s not like in ‘The Price of History’ where we are simply in our place and a couple of people come. Here there are people queuing and queuing. That’s so interesting. We look at one thing, that’s false, we continue with something else, that’s false, and another thing and another thing and that’s a much faster speed all the time we’re on the road,” Rick said. His son Corey added: “The store was always enough, but it’s nice to be able to get up close and see the fans up close. We have a very good team in the business, so we can leave it without problems. And this is an opportunity to go out and try something new. It’s a very different environment and here we have everything different. In the business we have everything at our fingertips.” Rick and Corey also shared that, as a result of the great receptivity that the first season of “The Price of History on the Road” had, History has already renewed for a second edition. The program crosses the North American country to visit Austin (Texas); Denver, Colorado; Savannah, Georgia; San Francisco, California; Seattle, Washington; Valley Forge, Pennsylvania; Washington DC.; and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Some of the extraordinary articles featured in the program include a handwritten letter by George Washington, a bronze cannon from the American Revolution, a shield of Henry II of France, a photo of Ernest Hemingway signed by Yousuf Karsh and much more.
