Appointment of the Commissioner of the Municipal Water Operator Agency will already be specified by Law: Gloria Tapia

He pointed out that the Strengthening Commission ruled on a couple of initiatives on the operating agencies, so this Wednesday the Plenary of the Chamber gave the green light to the opinion prepared.
Morelia, Mich. – The procedure and requirements for the appointment of the Commissioner of the Municipal Water Operator Organism, will finally be specified by Law and will have the elements that guarantee better decision-making, stressed Deputy Gloria Tapia Reyes, president of the Municipal Strengthening and Territorial Limits Commission of the LXXV Legislature of the State Congress, by means of a statement.
The deputy for the District of Zitácuaro pointed out that the Strengthening Commission, ruled a couple of initiatives promoted by legislator Fanny Arreola Pichardo on the operating agencies, so this Wednesday the Plenary of the Chamber gave the green light to the prepared opinion.
“The deputies and the deputy members of the Ruling Commission, we rule due to the concern that assists us to guarantee the population of the entire state the human right to water in its broadest sense, this includes access, disposal and sanitation of water for personal and domestic consumption in a sufficient, healthy, acceptable and affordable way. ”

Gloria Tapia said that the reform approved by Congress to the Municipal Organic Law assumes that it is an obligation of the Government, to guarantee the right to water of the people.
“In view of the needs of our time, foreseeing the design, development and application of instruments that promote the fulfillment of the objectives of the state water policy, through its preservation in quantity, quality and sustainability, and that the severity of its consequences will depend directly on the actions and decisions we take in the short term, is that the opinion of the proposal was determined so that as soon as possible it would be applicable law in Michoacán”.
