Publishes 75 Legislature Call to grant Melchor Ocampo 2023 award

Morelia, Michoacán. – With the purpose of recognizing the effort and dedication of the people or institutions that have distinguished themselves for providing notable services to the State and the country, the 75th Legislature approved the Call for the delivery of the Melchor Ocampo 2023 Decoration, which was published this day, they reported through a statement.
In this way, the holders of the Legislative, State Executive and Judicial Powers, the municipalities and the public or private universities of Michoacán will be able to present the proposals of the people or institutions that could be decorated with the highest award granted by the State Congress, in Solemn Session that will take place on June 3 of the current year.
The Decoration will be imposed by the head of the State Executive Power, within the framework of the commemoration of the Death Anniversary of Melchor Ocampo, and in which the head of the Judicial Power and other magistrates of the Supreme Court of Justice of the State will participate as guests.

The proposals with the requirements indicated in the Call must be presented at the offices of the Secretariat of Parliamentary Services of the State Congress, located at Av. Madero Oriente, no. 97, Colonia Centro of this capital city, from Monday to Friday, on business days, from Monday, May 8 to Friday, May 12, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Call was published in the Official State Newspaper and in the newspaper with the largest state circulation this Thursday, as well as on the website of the Congress of Michoacán, where it will remain in force until the conclusion of the period for receipt of proposals, at the following electronic address: http://congresomich.gob.mx/cem/wp-content/uploads/acuerdo-374_03-05-23.pdf
Once the deadline for receipt has ended, the Political Coordination Board will analyze the proposals received and present to the Plenary of the 75th Legislature, the one it considers most suitable for approval.
