Morelia, Michoacán. – Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla reported that 15 million pesos will be invested to consolidate the facilities of the Faculty of Medicine of the Michoacan University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH), Tangancícuaro extension, according to a statement.
As part of the actions that the president committed to support the highest house of studies in the state, the work project to expand the building with the construction of a new building on campus will be tendered.
Ramírez Bedolla stressed that this infrastructure includes spaces for an auditorium, cafeteria, institutional and perimeter bars, as well as walkways outside the building.

He added that the Secretariat of Communications and Public Works (SCOP), will be in charge of the public bidding process that is about to be carried out to achieve the proposed goals this year.
The governor reiterated that it is a priority of the Government of Michoacán, to support the UMSNH so that the institution has sufficient and optimal facilities for the development and training of its students.
