Connie Isla presents this Saturday at the Vorterix Theater “Alma Mater”, her new album

Connie came up with the whole concept of “Isla Mater” in February 2022, when she began composing these new songs, as well as the audiovisual identity around it. “Viaje” was the first single from the album and marked the beginning of this adventure, where the listener receives the message that the takeoff into the unknown is happening… Just as “Isla Mater” is a conceptual and somewhat experimental album on a visual level, Connie sought the same at the sound level, making a decisive decision to explore this new facet: the guitar and ukulele were forbidden when composing. In order to give life to new sounds she knew she had to leave that familiar and comfortable place, that is why she proposed to surround herself with various producers who nourished her compositional process, diversified the palette of sounds and colors, specifically in the melodic plane and, despite being difficult at first, the results were incredible. That is why Isla Mater’s production is made up of Melt music (Leandr. and Luke Villemur), Joaquin Bernabe, Punga and MH31. Mix & Master was entirely in charge of 7am (Santiago de Simone), also has guests such as Marki, Leo Rizzi (Spain), Flyboiz (Mexico) and Odd Mami.After starting the year playing at Lollapalooza and with the release of this new album, Connie Isla will officially present “Isla Mater” on June 3 at 20, at the Vorterix Theater, Like the album, it will be a concept show.
