More than 366 thousand young Michoacans benefited from welfare programs

Morelia, Michoacán.- In Michoacán, more than 366 thousand young people are direct beneficiaries of welfare programs, with an investment of more than 13 thousand 161 million pesos, said Giulianna Bugarini Torres, head of the state agency.
“For the Government of the Fourth Transformation, young people are a priority, and that is why it governs with them,” he said.
He added that the agency in charge has a register of 3,310 beneficiaries, between 15 and 29 years old, which includes LGBTTTIQ + people, women with cancer, as well as caregivers of minors with oncological conditions.
Bugarini Torres explained that at the state level 3 thousand young people benefit from the Pension for the Welfare of People with Disabilities; 182 supports for LGBTTTIQ+ people; 123 beneficiaries of the Families Caregivers of Children with Cancer program; and five women from the Women with Invasive Breast and/or Cervical Cancer program.
It also supports 157,052 Youth Building the Future; 15,838 from Youth Writing the Future; 104,835 from Benito Juárez Welfare Scholarships, high school education; 75,989 Benito Juárez Welfare Scholarships, basic education; and 13 thousand 4 from Elisa Acuña Scholarships.
