Gabriel Zamora, Michoacán. – Two people traveling in a compact vehicle lost their lives, after they collided head-on with a truck carrying new cars. After the impact the unit of the victims went up in flames.
The fatal accident was recorded early Sunday morning at kilometer 135 in the Santa Casilda – Cuatro Caminos section, where other users of the Siglo XXI Highway, upon noticing what happened asked for help from the staff of the booth.
For the above, paramedics, firefighters and officers of the National Guard were mobilized to the area to attend the emergency, finding the car on fire and extinguishing the fire located two burned bodies inside. Of the deceased at the moment their identity is unknown.
The agents of the National Guard of the Division Security in Roads and Facilities carried out the flag of the area and requested the intervention of the State Attorney General’s Office.
During the respective diliengias, the Experts had the support of firefighters, who with hydraulic equipment, rescued the bodies, without being able to determine greater characteristics of the victims due to the state in which the remains ended.
The bodies were sent to the Forensic Medical Service of the region, while the units involved were transferred to a corralón, to be available to the competent authorities.
