Businessman murdered aboard his vehicle south of Morelia

The incident happened on Rotarismo Avenue, near the Camelinas Branch.
Morelia, Michoacán.- The occupant of a yellow Minicooper was shot dead during the night of this Tuesday on Rotarismo Avenue, south of Morelia. The interfect was a businessman, sources close to the matter reported.
The murder occurred in the Ejidal Ocolusen neighborhood, near the Camelinas Branch and Plaza Morelia. It transpired that the deceased was identified as Gunter Mañón, 42 years old, apparently manager of the nightclub “Babylon”, located on Enrique Ramírez Avenue.
From the fact of violence it was learned that the now offended was traveling aboard the aforementioned vehicle with Veracruz license plate XZN873B, when at a certain moment a motorcyclist paired him and began to shoot him to death.
The firearm detonations were reported and municipal patrol cars and paramedics immediately attended, who confirmed the death of the aforementioned man.
The uniformed cordoned off the area and requested the intervention of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), in this way the specialists of the Unit of Expert Services and Crime Scene (USPEC) were in charge of the first investigations and transferred the body to the morgue for the practice of the necropsy of rigor.
