L-Ghent’s mother spoke about her son’s situation: “I’m going through a delicate moment”

Elián Valenzuela, better known as L-Gante, has been detained for more than two months in the DDI of Quilmes after the complaint of illegitimate deprivation of liberty and threats against two municipal employees. And while the judge of guarantees had granted him house arrest, today, the Third Chamber of the Chamber of Appeals of Mercedes decided to revoke this right and therefore six months must pass so that his lawyer, Roberto Cazorla can raise the request for release on bail again. “Now we have to wait six months, because the process to the next instance that is the Court of Cassation of the province of Buenos Aires is delayed,” explained for the cycle of Karina Mazzocco. And he completed: “He has to return to the instance, he has to return to the court, from there they have to assemble the folder, send it to La Plata, in La Plata a room is going to be drawn, that room has times …”, the lawyer remarked. Then, he reported that this does not change anything from the evidentiary or technical, those are the times of justice at least detailed. Likewise, and with this decision, the Justice must request a place in a Buenos Aires prison for his transfer since the delegation in which he has been for several weeks can not continue to house him. In this way, judges Carlos Risuleo and Oscar Reggi assessed that granting him house arrest would represent an obstruction in the investigation, and as expressed in the brief, the magistrates considered not only the procedural dangers, but also the seriousness of the accusation: “Valenzuela is accused of conduct that objectively has extremely burdensome characteristics” It reads in the 8-page document. In the same vein, they were severe with the judge of guarantees and maintained: “We understand that the arguments given by the judge of guarantees do not withstand analysis … Such a way of reasoning provides an incentive for any accused who is deprived of his liberty to frighten the victims, by himself or through an intermediary, in order to obtain a release or mitigation of coercion.”, argued about the reasons for L-Ghent continuing the investigation process in detention. Before this news, Claudia Valenzuela, mother of the musician was anguished by the future of her son and expressed for the cycle “A la Tarde”: “I will never lower my arms for my son,” she said and reiterated: “I am going through a delicate moment but I will never lower my arms for my son, “she said about the resolution and the present of the singer.
