Bedolla supports with economic support to families of children with cancer

Morelia, Michoacán.- The incorporations to be part of the Program for Families Caregivers of Children with Cancer continue in force, with the objective that the father, mother or guardian of the child under 18 years of age with any type of cancer, has a resource to cover the expenses of transfer, lodging and food during treatment or medical surveillance.
This was reported by the Secretary of Welfare in Michoacán, Giulianna Bugarini Torres, reiterating that this program is open to families in the 113 municipalities, regardless of whether they have social security.
“We know that for many parents or guardians it is difficult for them to travel to the Michoacan capital to bring their children to chemotherapy, so today we put at their disposal this economic resource to serve as a support for the expense they go through,” he said.
The support is 4 thousand pesos per month for families caring for children with cancer, a program that to date has 400 families incorporated.
Bugarini Torres called on those families who have a child with some type of oncological condition and who are in public sector hospitals, to approach the Ministry of Welfare, located at Avenida Lázaro Cárdenas 1016, in the Ventura Puente neighborhood of Morelia, or request advice and accompaniment through the WhatsApp chat 443 935 9874, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
