One dead, one injured and one arrested, after truck and motorcycle crash, in Los Reyes

Los Reyes, Michoacán.- On Sunday night, a man was crushed to death, his partner with whom he was traveling on a motorcycle was injured and the driver of a truck arrested, after registering a spectacular crash in the bypass of this city of Los Reyes.
About the deceased it is only known that his name was Sergio and he was an inhabitant of the town of Gildardo Magaña, in the municipality of Peribán; while the injured is Alejandro S., 48 years old, a resident of this town, in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood, who is hospitalized in delicate health at the Regional Hospital or IMSS Bienestar, and the driver of the other vehicle is detained in the Public Security railing area, of which his generals are unknown.
From the mishap it was learned that around 20:00 hours, on the road that leads from Los Reyes to Jacona, at the height of the San José neighborhood, in front of the Sor Juana Inés school, a gray Toyota truck and a scooter in the opposite direction were circulating with excess speed, from north to south, both units with two occupants, colliding head-on, the motorcycle was under the Tacoma, one of the men flew out and the other was under the unit, being dragged 100 meters, suffering injuries that cost him his life.
After the impact, the boys who were in the truck got out wanting to flee, but the driver decided to wait for the authorities.
Civil Protection elements arrived at the place, who verified that the man died and his companion was transferred by ambulance to the hospital, where he is in delicate health.
The staff of the State Attorney General’s Office went to the site to make the pertinent updates of the case, ordering that the body be sent to the Forensic Medical Service to perform the necropsy of rigor.
