Morelia, Michoacán. – On Monday, August 28, the 2023-2024 school year will start with the presence of the state government throughout Michoacán, announced the Secretary of Education, Gabriela Molina Aguilar, according to a statement from the state government.
With a deployment of officials from the legal and expanded cabinet of the Government of Michoacán, headed by President Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, as well as the structure of the State Education Secretariat (SEE), the ceremonies of beginning of the cycle will be held from 08:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

It will be in some of the more than 9 thousand public elementary schools where most of the civic acts will take place; In some municipalities, the ceremonies will be in another public space, such as the main square.
The head of the education sector in Michoacán highlighted the commitment of teachers, parents, as well as municipal authorities, for the start of this school year, for the benefit of more than one million 200 thousand girls, boys and adolescents who are trained in Michoacan classrooms.
