Kicillof questioned Milei’s economic team: “More caste is not achieved”

A few months before the general elections of October 22, the candidate and current governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, referred to part of the economic team of the winner of the PASO. In dialogue with Radio con Vos, he made it clear that “more chaste than the cavallismo that expresses the space of Milei, like Carlos Rodríguez and Roque Fernández, is not achieved. These are the economists who are going to solve Argentina. They led us into the biggest crisis in living memory.” Then, he referred to the team that would propose Together for Change: “After Macri governed a little while ago with the same staff that Bullrich’s economists are now. So give it, there are problems, we recognize them, but it’s not out there.” It should be noted that both Carlos Rodriguez and Roque Fernandez, who are currently part of the economic team of the presidential candidate for La Libertad Avanza, Javier Milei, were part of the Menem government. In Rodriguez’s case, he served as Chief of Cavallo’s Cabinet of Advisers and served as Secretary of Economic Policy between 1997 and 1998. Fernandez then became president of the Central Bank and replaced Cavallo as economy minister from 1996 to 1999.
