Full confidence for investment in LC: Ambassador of the Netherlands

The governor highlighted actions for industrial and business development in the region
Morelia, Michoacán. – The ambassador of the Netherlands in Mexico, Wilfred Mohr, expressed confidence in the Port of Lázaro Cárdenas to increase investment, operation and development of companies in the face of nearshoring and the Agreement between Mexico, the United States and Canada (T-MEC), according to a statement from the state government.
The above when holding a meeting with Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, who stressed that about 50 percent of foreign investment in Michoacán comes from European companies installed in several regions of the state and agreed that the confidence of the sector has been recovered by keeping the land communication routes and the fight against extortion by trade free.
He recalled that in recent months he held meetings with the ambassadors of Finland and Austria in Mexico, Päivi Pohjanheimo and Elisabeth Kehrer, respectively, as well as with Ambassador Gautier Mignot and representatives of the delegation of the European Union in Mexico to promote investment in the entity.

The governor mentioned that his administration is promoting actions to guarantee the rule of law and the permanence of the business sector, in order to take advantage of economic development opportunities with the relocation of companies.
For this, he explained, Michoacán has the logistic conditions, infrastructure, industrial parks and clean energy generated by hydroelectric and geothermal areas, as well as municipalities where photovoltaic energy can be produced.
