Morelia, Michoacán.- Legislators must focus on improving Michoacán so that the population has better living conditions, more opportunities for development and justice, said Ivonne Pantoja Abascal, president of the Board of Directors of the State Congress.
The PAN deputy said that initiatives should continue to be promoted for the benefit of the sectors that most require attention.
“The people of Michoacán require us to work together, leaving aside the colors, the partisan origin and focusing on serving our state. I am confident that the unwavering will and commitment we have to our citizens will guide us to leave favorable results.”
He explained that in order to obtain good results in legislative matters, respectful dialogue, collaboration between all political forces and openness to plurality of ideas must be privileged.
Pantoja Abascal highlighted the importance of the presence of women in decision-making spaces, a reflection of this progress is that for the first time a Legislature was chaired by women.
“Something that has marked this legislature is the presence of women, we are the majority and for the first time, only women have headed the presidency of the Board of Directors. It is a great achievement for our gender and we will respond to this task with work focused on promoting issues for the benefit of women, girls, boys, adolescents, older adults.”
