Morelia, Michoacán.- On board one of the aircraft of the Mexican Air Force of the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena), tonight will arrive at the airport in Mexico City, the eight Michoacans repatriated from Israel, said Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla.
The president explained that staff of the Secretariat of Government of the state, will receive the Michoacans in order to express their solidarity and support.
He pointed out that there has been communication with relatives of the countrymen who were in that country, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) and the Embassies of Mexico in Israel and Israel in Mexico.
Likewise, the state president confirmed that two Michoacans moved to different countries in Europe, two others left Israel by their own means, three more are in the process of returning, and one is a resident, so he decided to stay in Israel.
“We have implemented the corresponding actions in order to guarantee a safe return of Michoacans and they can be reunited with their families,” said the state president.
However, the number of countrymen stranded in Israel could increase in the coming hours, since the identities of Mexicans in that nation are constantly updated.
