Rossi on the opposition: “They say they are the change, but chaos is pronounced”

After a week that altered the lines of Together for Change (JxC) in the face of the unions of some of its leaders with Javier Milei – presidential candidate for La Libertad Avanza (LLA) – ahead of the runoff on November 19, Agustín Rossi – candidate for vice president for Union for the Homeland (UxP) – spoke out against alliances. Faced with the fractures in the opposition generated by the imminent second round, the vice-presidential candidate of the ruling party emphasized Milei’s statements during the campaign. “Bullrich was accused of planting bombs in a kindergarten, of having blood on her hands, and she ended up supporting the person who accused her in that way,” Rossi said in a dialogue with Ignacio Otero for the program broadcast by Radio Metro. He ends up embracing the political space and the former president who governed Argentina four years ago. The value of the word is quite questionable. Many genuine voters must have felt betrayed.” Likewise, the vice-presidential candidate criticized the main economic proposal of the liberal leader. “Milei campaigned against caste and dollarization. None are sustainable now. What is the project that you are going to support: the one you expressed in the PASO, Macri’s? Do you keep the same precepts? Apparently not. They say they are the change, but chaos is pronounced, all with little predictability,” he remarked. Rossi then differentiated the figure of Sergio Massa – presidential candidate of UxP – from Milei and the opposition, in relation to the image transmitted to the population. “Everything that has been generated around this back and forth and the breakup of Together for Change poses a scenario where the only one who today transmits tranquility and serenity is Sergio Massa. The rest is like a rugby ball, it stings, but we don’t know where,” he said. It is an agreement in which I saw Bullrich enumerate his own statements that have nothing to do with Milei’s. We are in a scenario where, while we try to continue speaking to Argentines in the same way, even Sergio Massa made the proposal for national unity, the others have only attacked us and each other,” he added then to conclude with his words.
