Puruándiro preserves its culture and traditions: Víctor Vázquez

Puruándiro, Michoacán.- The City Council of Puruándiro is committed to the preservation of our traditions and culture, because these are important aspects to maintain the identity and consolidate the sense of belonging of the inhabitants, said the municipal president Víctor Manuel Vázquez Tapia, within the framework of the activities developed on the occasion of the Day of the Dead.
To this end, different cultural activities were organized that allowed us to experience our traditions in the main square for a night. From early in the morning, municipal employees, civil associations and educational institutions made and exhibited altars with a great diversity of concepts.
Likewise, the Procession of the Souls was carried out through some streets of the city, in addition to some cultural presentations by educational institutions, which included the presentation of the Night of Legends, by the Transhumante collective. In the kiosk of the main square of the Voices of the Beyond, there was the musical participation of the Vocal Ensemble Inspirare Voices of the Beyond.
With the continuation of the Day of the Dead celebrations, a magical night was experienced in the main square of Puruándiro, full of traditions, music and culture, organized by the City Council presided over by Víctor Manuel Vázquez Tapia.
Hundreds of families from Puruandira enjoyed the presentation of the Tlacuaches de Chiricuaro, the dance of the children’s Paloteo, balloons of Cantoya, as well as a wind band and mariachi to close with a flourish with the Catrinas Contest that had a great participation with a total of 30 catrinas
