LABITCONF 2023 consolidates its position as a leader in the region

On Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11, the 11th edition of LABITCONF was held at the Costa Salguero venue, in the city of Buenos Aires.  Two days of 12 continuous hours each where more than 300 national and international specialists in Web3, leading companies from all over the world, together with dozens of creative proposals crowned another edition of the most important blockchain and Bitcoin conference in Latin America, and the oldest in the world. Approximately 200 activities full of creativity and quality content were presented on seven stages. Entrepreneurs, businessmen, economists, developers, artists, and blockchain project communities connected with an audience eager to venture into Web3 culture, a technological model that transcends monetary to pursue digital freedom, community building, and empower users over their own information. Rodolfo Andragnes, founder of LABITCONF and the NGO Bitcoin Argentina said: “I feel that it was a very successful edition with interesting content for each of the profiles. That is, people with little or no knowledge, but also for those who have more background and sought to update themselves with the latest industry debates. We presented a consistent program with no cuts that brought a lot of attendance to the stages, but also facilitated great networking opportunities. It is an event that is very much crossed by fun and entertainment and that shows in the climate of the whole place. We are already thinking about the date for the next edition and where the theme will go.” Much of the focus this year was on new users who want to deeply understand blockchain in all its aspects and didn’t have the basic tools to get started. For them, there were more formative instances where the basic concepts of Bitcoin, Ethereum and Blockchain were presented; the step-by-step for operating in decentralized finance; what are the most common mistakes that put cryptos at risk, or how to avoid being scammed; keys to differentiating the different types of cryptocurrencies and stablecoins; or what about privacy in the crypto world. On the other hand, international economists and economists from the national scene were the protagonists of high-level debates and presentations within the framework of a particular political and economic context of the country. “It was very right that one of the main lines of the topics reinforced this year’s debates: dollarization, economic policy, where we are going. This was very attractive because it responds to a social agenda that is of great interest in a fluctuating situation,” concludes Andragnes.Once again, LABITCONF reaffirms its place in the ecosystem as the epicenter with the greatest influx of public and the most prominent voices in the industry at a global and national level. A place where talks, hackathons, creative experiences and open debates converge with the thousands of people who attend every year.
