Dr. Sheinbaum’s “Dreams”

Mexico. – Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, who was elected as Coordinator for the Defense of the Fourth Transformation, will seek to continue with the initiatives and proposals of the 4T that began in 2018 by the current president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
The former Secretary of the Environment registered as a pre-candidate for the presidency of the republic, for MORENA, PT and PVEM, on Sunday, November 19 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.
To avoid getting into trouble, Dr. Sheinbaum called “dreams” the points with which she seeks to continue and maintain the Fourth Transformation, since it is not yet time to make electoral proposals.
1.- Maintain republican austerity, pensions will not return to former presidents and the idea that there will be no rich government with poor people will be maintained. There will be no gasoline hikes or increases in service rates in real terms. The autonomy of the Bank of Mexico will be maintained and tax evasion will be prevented, in addition to maintaining the division between political and economic power.
2.- Maintain social programs, he mentioned that scholarships for public school students will be universal.
It will seek to increase the minimum wage and strengthen the rights of Mexico’s workers.
4.- Promote public investment and consolidate the Mayan Train and the Interoceanic Train, in addition to expanding strategic investments, as well as giving continuity to passenger train projects throughout the country: Mexico-Puebla-Veracruz-Coatzacoalcos Train, AIFA-Pachuca Interurban Train, Mexico-Querétaro-León-Aguascalientes Train, Manzanillo-Colima-Guadalajara-Irapuato Train, Mexico-San Luis Potosí-Monterrey-Nuevo Laredo Train, Mexico-Querétaro-Guadalajara-Tepic-Mazatlán-Nogales Train, Train Mexico-Puebla-Veracruz-Coatzacoalcos, Train Aguascalientes-Chihuahua-Ciudad Juárez.
Special emphasis on public education, from initial training to university.
6.- Continuity of the public health system, with the aim of making access to health a right and free and of high quality.
7.- Strengthen access to decent housing for Mexicans.
8.- Guarantee justice for indigenous peoples.
Promote substantive equality for women and strengthen the rights of people in the LGBT+ community.
10.- Take advantage of Mexico’s geographical position to attract investment and generate jobs and decent wages, based on a regional vision of well-being.
11.- Promote scientific and technological development.
12.- Accelerate the energy transition towards clean energy sources.
13.- Promote a policy for the protection of natural resources with the aim of combating climate change.
14.- Guarantee the right to water through strategic works.
15.- Food sovereignty and support for the countryside for the most vulnerable peasants.
Governance, peace and security as the fruit of justice in all its spheres.
Plan C, which consists of seeking to make new reforms, seeking a majority in both chambers of the Congress of the Union, for the approval of initiatives against the Judiciary.
