Judge Analía Romero will replace Débora Abrevaya in the case of the elections in Boca

Judge Alejandra Débora Abrevaya stepped aside from the case of the suspended elections in Boca Juniors, which were scheduled for Sunday, December 3. After his resignation, Judge Analía Victoria Romero was chosen to replace him. Romero has been a surrogate of the Civil Court Number 64 since last year and is also the head in charge of the Civil Court Number 40 of the same district, since 2018. His appointment in charge of Court 40, in accordance with article 99, paragraph 4 of the National Constitution, took place at the beginning of March 2018 when Mauricio Macri was president of the Nation. in relation to what they consider the irregular qualification of some 13,364 members in the register. The elections were scheduled for Sunday, December 3, but were suspended and still have no confirmed date for their realization.  If this ruling is ratified, there is the possibility of organizing the vote for next Sunday 17. Otherwise, the elections would be postponed to next year. Several tents had been set up on the Bombonera playing field, in the form of large gazebos, which were to be used for members to cast their votes in the ballot boxes. On Sunday afternoon there was a march made up of Boca members and fans who demanded to vote and who rejected any possibility of intervention in Boca Juniors, while harshly insulting Macri. The mobilization was attended by Juan Román Riquelme and Jorge Amor Ameal, candidates for the ruling party, and was joined by several members of the structure of the youth divisions of “xeneize” soccer and part of the Football Council.
