Axel Kicillof assumed his second term in the province of Buenos Aires

The governor of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, assumed his second official term, in front of the plenary session of the Buenos Aires Legislative Assembly. So did Lieutenant Governor Veronica Magario, who took the oath of office to take office. In his speech, the governor said: “This re-election comes in circumstances of widespread social unrest. If we were still elected, I think it is because what we did in adverse circumstances was valued, and to continue what is being done in the province, to continue transforming.” Then he added: “We are entering a particular scenario. It is one of the few episodes in which such different political forces will govern. It is the result of the will of the people.” In PBA, our political force won the majority of votes in all three elections. In October, the difference was stark. The people of Buenos Aires supported public works, security and health management. They came out to defend with their vote what we had achieved. We reached 84 municipalities. The province of Buenos Aires was painted blue,” the governor said.  The president also invited all political parties “to work to recover the resources that were taken from the territory,” as he took the oath of office before the Legislative Assembly.
