Kicillof arrived in Bahía Blanca after the storm

After the tornado that left catastrophic consequences in Bahía Blanca with 13 dead and 15 injured, the governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, traveled to the port city to join the Crisis Committee. Faced with a bleak panorama, Kicillof ordered the supply of logistical and health resources, as well as 504 jerry cans of water, 10,000 kilos of food, 1,000 blankets, 250 mattresses, 500 items of clothing and footwear, and 500 cleaning kits. In this sense, the Ministry of Development of Buenos Aires pointed out that “assistance and accompaniment are provided in 40 districts of the Province”, while in La Plata Minister Andrés Larroque is coordinating the pertinent assistance tasks. Due to the tragic consequences of the storm, the mayor of Bahía Blanca, Federico Susbielles, decreed a 72-hour mourning in the city. On his social networks, he asked the citizens of Bahia to remain in their homes since there is still an “emergency situation, with electrical risk and risk of falling trees and structures.”
