“Puan” and “Cuando acecha la maldad” lead the Argentine pre-selections of the 2024 Platino Awards

On the way to its 11th edition, the Platino Awards announced their shortlist, among which “Puan” (by María Alché and Benjamín Naishtat) and “Cuando acecha la maldad” (by Demián Rugna) were the outstanding Argentine films in the film category with 10 and 8 shortlists respectively. A year after “Argentina, 1985” won five awards at the Ibero-American awards, other feature films such as “Los delincuentes” (the pre-candidate for the 2024 Oscars, directed by Rodrigo Moreno), and series such as the second season of “Iosi, the repentant spy” (by Sebastián Borensztein and Daniel Burman), “División Palermo” (directed, written and starring Santiago Korovsky), and “Barrabrava” (by Jesús Braceras).
