Morelia, Michoacán. – Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla led the delivery of cards of the federal program The School is Ours, which this year totals 5,600 million pesos for more than 16,000 actions of equipment and basic necessities in basic education schools, they reported through a statement. The president pointed out that this year the dispersion of one billion pesos is contemplated for the benefit of 3,945 basic education schools where now mothers and fathers, as well as teachers, receive support directly and determine in which dignification actions will be invested. Likewise, the governor specified that this program will support 283 schools in the Morelia region this year, for which 113 million pesos were allocated. For his part, Roberto Pantoja Arzola, delegate of Welfare in Michoacán, said that now the resources reach the schools directly, where the committees made up of parents determine what are the most urgent actions in each school. Meanwhile, Gabriela Molina Aguilar, Secretary of Education, said that with this economic support it will be possible to equip the schools and develop infrastructure that allows the rehabilitation of spaces for students. The governor was accompanied by the Secretary of Finance and Administration, Luis Navarro García; local deputies, as well as teachers from the Morelia region of benefited schools.
