Morelia, Michoacán. – The 75th Legislature of Michoacán reiterated its commitment to help the Judiciary contribute to clear, expeditious and equitable justice in favor of the population, a commitment in which accountability represents one of its most important pillars, as they shared in a statement. This was stated by Deputy Ivonne Pantoja Abascal, president of the Board of Directors of the State Congress, after witnessing the presentation of the Report of the presiding magistrate of the Judicial Branch in Michoacán, Jorge Reséndiz García, in which he gave an account to the citizens about the actions that are carried out in the field of justice. The local legislator, who attended on behalf of the Legislative Branch, pointed out that accountability must be an act of responsibility with the people of Michoacán, especially when it comes to an issue as sensitive as justice. He added that the Judicial Branch “is an important part of this mechanism that we form together with the Legislative and the Executive, to achieve the governability, social stability and development that Michoacán requires.” In the 2023 Judicial Branch Activities Report, Deputy Ivonne Pantoja reiterated the support of the deputies of the State Congress in favor of clear, expeditious and equitable justice in favor of the people of Michoacán.
