Morelia, Michoacán. – The Governor of Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, is in a state of high spirits because today in the ‘other city’, Villas del Pedregal, the inauguration of another ICATMI campus took place. Located on Avenida de la Cantera Villas del Pedregal and dressed in purple, lilac, orange, gray and white tones, a new ICATMI campus makes its appearance in the western area of Morelia. This institution began operating in February 1993 with the opening of 3 campuses located in Quiroga, Ciudad Hidalgo and Zitácuaro, respectively; On May 25, 1992, it was published in the Official State Gazette on May 25, 1992. Agreement for the Creation of the Institute of Training for Work of the State of Michoacán (ICATMI). With an investment of 35 million pesos, the campus that is inaugurated today as indicated, responds to the 22nd institution located in the Michoacan territory, and although one can read on its official website that the purpose of this project is “to contribute to the formation of the human factor that has the need for employment, self-employment and updating in their work activity, through a flexible, relevant and inclusive, with competent instructors, responding to the individual and labor requirements of Michoacans to improve their quality of life and contribute to the socioeconomic development of the state.” Ramírez Bedolla says that the best way to combat insecurity is through culture and education. What does this ICATMI offer? If you are a tenant or close to the area of Villas del Pedregal, the governor affirms that this ICATMI is different, as it offers the learning of the handling and maintenance of hybrid cars and large capacity trucks, of which it is recognized “There is a deficit of 50 thousand drivers for commerce and logistics in the entire area of Mexico”. To conclude the meeting with the media, supporters of the party and people who live in the area, Ramírez Bedolla took the opportunity to recall that the elaboration of the second ring of the peripheral will connect “somewhere” here, in the Villas del Pedregal subdivision.
