Uruapan, Mich.- Three people were injured when they were the target of an armed aggression a few meters from the Municipal Public Security Directorate, in the Miraflores Fractionation, in the city of Uruapan.It transpired that minutes before 2:00 p.m., the three subjects were walking on Eucalyptus Street, next to the perimeter fence of the International Airport, when they were shot at by an unknown person and immediately fled. The detonations were heard by neighbors, who reported that they looked out and observed the three victims with gunshot wounds, so they requested help from the emergency service. Moments later, paramedics from the Municipal Civil Protection arrived at the site, who assisted the victims and transferred them to a hospital, where they remain under police guard; their identities were not revealed. For their part, elements of the Municipal Police and the Mexican Army were deployed in the area of the attack in search of the attackers, without any report of any arrests related to the case. The authorities of the Attorney General’s Office were informed of what happened so that their staff could initiate the corresponding proceedings and begin the corresponding investigation file.
