Apatzingán, Michoacán.- A motorcyclist was intercepted and riddled with bullets, in the streets of the Palmira neighborhood, belonging to this demarcation of Apatzingán. The probable motive for the homicide has been unknown so far. The attack was reported to the authorities on Ignacio López Rayón Street, in the vicinity of the “Autoservicio Palmira” business, where some people, upon hearing the detonations, looked out and discovered a male lying along with a blue and black motorcycle. The incident was reported to the emergency service, and at first elements of the Municipal Police attended, along with paramedics who, upon checking the victim, verified that he lacked vital signs. Minutes later, a multidisciplinary group from the Specialized Crime Scene Unit, under the State Attorney General’s Office, arrived, whose agents were in charge of the respective proceedings. The identity of the victim is unknown, it is a subject between 35 and 40 years of age, who was wearing a white shirt with black stripes and black pants, his body was transferred to the Forensic Medical Service, for the practice of the autopsy of law. With this incident, Apatzingán has accumulated at least 14 homicide victims during the month of April.
