Morelia, Michoacán.- More than a thousand local and international artists and 70 cultural activities of dance, cinema, literature, theater and music can be enjoyed at the Michoacán de Origen Festival 2024, from April 26 to May 19, at the facilities of the Morelia Convention and Exhibition Center (Ceconexpo), they reported in a statement. It will feature international presentations such as the clown plays Vualá, by the Colectiv Circus Clown company, from Mexico and Korea; Ooo from the Colombian company Only me; and the concert of Andean music by Soledad Ulloa, from Chile.In this edition, children will be able to enjoy this festival to the fullest with theater activities, screenings of animated shorts and special musical presentations such as the one by the Symphony Orchestra of Michoacán (Osidem) with Pedro y el lobo. There will also be modern dance flashmobs, urban dance competitions, opera performances and reading mediations, as well as workshops such as screen printing for all families. On the musical side, the festival will be filled with sounds and rhythms with groups such as Bemba Colorá, from Pátzcuaro; La Diez, from Morelia; and the Children’s and Youth Symphony Orchestras of Uruapan and the State.All these activities will take place on the esplanade of the Morelos Theater and its forum, they will be completely free and suitable for all audiences.
