The owner of the company of the hot air balloon that crashed in Teotihuacán – MonitorExpresso.com

Mexico. – Emanuel Irving “N” who was identified as the owner of the company to which the hot air balloon that caught fire and collapsed in Teotihuacán on April 1, 2023, belonged, was arrested by elements of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM). This accident resulted in the death of two people and a minor being injured, after a little more than a year of the plane mishap, the man is accused of homicide, according to local media reports shared during the afternoon of April 22. The owner of the company was admitted to the Otumba Penitentiary and Social Reinsertion Center, where he will be investigated for his probable involvement in the crimes of homicide and injuries by commission by omission by way of eventual malice, to the detriment of three victims, according to the authorities. On April 1, 2023, one of the hot air balloons caught fire while crossing the pyramids area and collapsed, a married couple unfortunately lost their lives in the accident: Viridiana, 39 years old, and José Edgar, 50 years old. While the couple’s thirteen-year-old daughter survived, as did the operator, who was arrested days later, he has entered a Mexican prison for the crimes of homicide and injuries.
