Health authorities recorded 262 more deaths from COVID-19, for a total of 229,100 recognized deaths from the disease.
They also identified 3,449 recent cases, so at least 2 million 438 thousand 11 people have become ill from the virus, since the beginning of the epidemic
However, they estimate that 19,686 (0.7%) they are active cases due to recent symptoms.
Regarding the trend of suspected cases, the agency reported a 0.2% increase between the 20th and 21nd weeks of the year.
27% of the population, vaccinated against COVID
So far, 34 million 658 thousand 545 vaccines against the virus have been applied.
This implies that 24 million 224 thousand 273 people have received at least one dose (27% of the adult population); 59% already have the complete scheme.
For this Monday, June 7, at least 193 thousand 84 vaccines were applied.
