Older adults in Mexico City who receive the welfare pension through a card from a private banking institution (HSBC, Banorte, Banco Azteca, etc.), will receive a new card.
The deposit of the federal government’s welfare pension will be made exclusively on the welfare card, therefore, those who do not have it must collect it in one of the 62 modules that will be installed.
The welfare pension payment will be received on the new card from the next two months after receiving the card. Through a text message you will be notified of the pension deposit.
Those who already have the welfare card should not make any changes, the deposit will continue to be made as before.
