Meanwhile, the AFA leadership triggered several claims and, judging by the sayings of Claudio “Chiqui” Tapia, sees a harsh punishment coming against Leo.
“We will do anything to defend the Argentina national team,” the AFA president promised, preferring to “talk no more” as he argued that crack could “receive two years” of sanction.
Tapia, also second vice-president of Conmebol, surely referred to article 7 of the disciplinary regulation which indicates two years of sanction for “behaving in an offensive, insulting or defamatory manner organism.”
