translated from Spanish: Two men are detained for sexual harassment at CDMX Metro stations

Authorities in Mexico City on Tuesday reported the arrest of two men accused of sexually harassing women at Metro facilities.
“The first case happened at the San Antonio station on line 7, when SSC police were performing their prevention and surveillance functions in the walking area, and were requested by a woman,” the Security Secretariat said, in a statement.
“The affected told them that as he went down the escalator, a 28-year-old man performed improper touching of his buttocks,” he added.
In the other case, police officers arrested a 55-year-old man, “who touched a woman’s breasts without her consent, at Chabacano Station on line 8.”
The affected, the authorities added, “reported that the person involved had touched his chest as he descended from the convoy, so the man was arrested.”
The detainees were reported to the public prosecutor’s office.
