Mexico City.-An element of the Ministry of Citizen Security (SSC) injured an alleged thief in Colonia Polanco, in Miguel Hidalgo, so he was taken to a hospital. According to preliminary reports, the capital police surprised the subject by robbing Luis G. Urbina Street on Wednesday night.
Noticing the police presence, the alleged offender, travelling in a grey Tiguan van with X37-8G8 circulation plates, fired on the uniformed. However, one of the officers repelled the aggression and shot the driver who fired the projectiles from his seat, so emergency services mobilized to the site.
Paramedics treated the injured person at the point and subsequently entered the emergency department of a nearby hospital as a detainee.
According to early versions, the wounded man was dedicated to scrystalbting cars in the Polanco area.To go unnoticed, he was driving in ostentatious vehicles, from which he descended to commit the robberies and then flee. The scene where the Tiguan van was left with bloodstains, as well as the shell casings of the confrontation between the alleged offender and the capital police, was cordoned off. Later, experts from the Attorney General’s Office (FGJ) would carry out the appropriate steps on the site and the unit would initiate an investigation folder.
