Morelia, Michoacán.- Through a statement they reported that the municipality of Morelia through its Ministry of Tourism met with wedding planners, photographers, banqueters, makeup artists and service providers of the event area in order to consolidate Morelia as a wedding destination and increase its tourist potential.
Roberto Monroy García, Secretary of Tourism, stated that the Government headed by Professor Raúl Morón Orozco intends to promote this segment of the hand of those who are engaged in this work and that they give a benefit to the city by activating the hotel occupation, the economy and trade.
He stressed that the unit in his charge will soon launch a digital platform called “Morelia is of Boda”, where service providers in this field could register so that together we have a wide and professional catalog of this entire segment.
Monroy García said that the Government of Morelia wants to join and support this important segment to provide facilities in its work and together to enhance romance tourism in the city, since it added, Morelia has great architectural riches, gastronomic and cultural.
In this regard, the more than 60 service providers and guests appreciated this call and in turn presented proposals and concerns where the Secretary of Tourism, reaffirmed the commitment of the Municipal President to support and detonate this segment.
