Born on July 26, 1943, in Kent, a county in southeast England, Mick Jagger is on his birthday. Michael Philip Jagger as his full name, is one of the most important musical influences in rock history and lead singer of The Rolling Stones, a band founded in early 1962.Jagger, as well as being an influence, dedicated his life to music. In fact, in 1961, he left Dartford Grammar School to move with Keith Richards, guitarist and group founder, to an apartment with Brian Jones.
As a musician he received countless distinctions. Among them are a Golden Globe for Best Original Song of 2004, MTV Video Music Award 1986, three Grammy Awards and thirteen nominations.
