Journalist Jesús Alfonso Piñuelas was killed on Monday in Cajeme, In Sonora.
Piñuelas was shot dead after 10 p.m., while riding a motorcycle on streets of the Amanecer del Valle 1 colony, Sonora’s Attorney’s Office reported.
He added that there are already several lines of research, including the family, personal and work environment of the 43-year-old man.

Jesús Alfonso served as a cameraman in different media outlets, had the Facebook page “Zarathustra Prensa. The Shock of the News” where he published his work.
He also served as a private security agent in Hermosillo and in recent months would start as a fast food delivery man.
The murder of communicator comes four days after the murdered journalist and multimedia driver in Chihuahua, Arturo Alba Medina.
In addition to these are the murders of Jorge Armenta Ovalos, holder of Obson Media in May; and José Castillo Osuna, founder of the information portal Top Priority, both killed in Sonora.
