Morelia, Michoacán.- A couple was shot dead in an apartment in the Villas de Oriente colony, located in this city of Morelia, where the elements of the Morelia Police and the staff of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán (FGEM) were moved to address the situation, according to the data obtained by this news agency.
The criminal event was the afternoon of this Monday at an address of building 32-E of José Escobedo street. Neighbors in the area upon learning of the double homicide quickly called the guardians of the order, who arrived within minutes accompanied by paramedics from the Medical Rescue and Emergency Association (AMRU).
AMRU lifeguards confirmed the decessing of those affected, who were inside the house. Faced with the situation, municipal police guarded the site to avoid contamination of existing evidence and called for the help of FGEM experts.

Subsequently, experts and investigators from the Pericial Services and Crime Scene Unit took care of the research on the subject, within which the deceased were identified by their parents as Maria G., 51, and Javier R., 37. The bodies were transferred to the forensic medical service facilities for the practice of the respective studies.
