translated from Spanish: Region Day: Subdere launched online regional information sheet

On The Day of the Regions, the Undersecretariat for Regional Development (Underdere) reported that it made available a tool for accessing data on budgets, expenditures, investment and balance sheets of different regional governments.
This is the Regional Single Information Sheet (FIRU), which will be updated on a quarterly basis, and is also expected to be useful to future regional governors, who will be able to familiarize themselves with financial information, even before assuming.
FIRU is available on the website of the Subdere Descentraliza Chile and the material is downloadable in various formats, to facilitate the analysis of the data.
It contains information such as the declaration of interests of the mayor, the distribution of the Regional Council by party and gender, the endowment of the Regional Government (GORE), the purchases of gore, investment management, budgetary implementation, the distribution of investments by commune, the implementation of investment by sector, the implementation of lag zones, the level of compliance in transparency , and expenditures on salaries and travel (also compared to the national level).
The Under-Secretary for Regional Development, María Paz Troncoso, said that the tool “represents a concrete step aimed at bringing citizens closer to the most relevant financial and investment information implemented by regional governments and which until now was difficult and complex to access. In addition to being a breakthrough in transparency, it will allow people to know about the work of regional governments and their authorities.”
